Telling lies makes things easier for him and help him get what he wants. He falls in love with Kavita and marries her saying that he is a very successful businessman. In order to live up to a flashy lifestyle, he asks his estate agent friend Amit to allow him to stay in his client’s bungalow in Versova. Amit has already rented out this bungalow to Chandulal from Africa for three months. Since Chandulal has gone on a ten day pilgrimage, newly wed couple Jignesh and Kavita start living in this bungalow. Soon Jignesh finds himself in big trouble when his mother-in-law Chanchalben sells her house and comes to live with them. To make things worse, Chandulal Chanderia cuts his trip short and returns to bungalow. Comedy of errors where chaos and hilarious dialogues evoke laughter. જૂઠુ બોલો જલસા કરો નોકરીનો ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ હોય કે લગ્નનું માંગુ, જીગ્નેશ રાયઠઠ્ઠા (જયદીપ શાહ) જ્યારે પણ સત્ય બોલે, લોકો તેની વાતને મજાકમાં ઉડાવી દે છે. તેનાથી વિપરીત, જ્યારે પણ તે ખોટું બોલે લોકો તેની વાતને વધાવી લે છે. જિજ્ઞેશ કવિતા સાથે પ્રેમમાં પડે છે અને પોતે એક સફળ ઉદ્યોગપતિ છે તેમ કહી તેની સાથે લગ્ન કરે છે. શ્રીમંત હોવાનો દેખાવ કરવા તે પોતાના એસ્ટેટ એજન્ટ મિત્ર અમિત પાસે વર્સોવાના બંગલામાં રહેવા મંજૂરી માગે છે. બંગલામાં રહેતા ભાડુત ચંદુલાલ યાત્રા પર ગયા હોય અમિત નવદંપત્તિને આ બંગલામાં રહેવા પરવાનગી આપે છે. જીગ્નેશ અને કવિતા હજી નવા ઘરમાં રહેવાની શરૂઆત કરે ત્યાં જ જીગ્નેશની સાસુ તેમની સાથે રહેવા આવી ચઢે છે. આટલું ઓછું હોઈ તેમ યાત્રા પર ગયેલા ભાડુત ચંદુલાલ અચાનક પાછા ફરે છે અને રચાય છે ગરબડ ગોટાળાની હારમાળા.
